We arrived and the atmosphere was static with energy from the people around us. The first set of fellow protesters we met was a couple with a sign that said "Snotty Walker." We joined a march up to the Capitol, where the hum of the rallies could be heard from a mile away. We walked around the Capitol in the streets doing chants, and eventually found our way into the Capitol.
At the entrance, we were searched using Metal Detector Wands. We got in and listened to a lot of people speak their minds. Even my friend Heba spoke in front of everyone! We saw so many famous people today like, Buffalo Beast, Michael Moore, and a famous singer, and of course Abe Lincoln!
After all this protesting we ended the day with some lunch/dinner and some good old book searches in the library! The best part of College Library in Madison is the sketch elevators! If you want a thrill use the elevator (but I don't recommend it, it could be a life or death situation).
Show me what democracy looks like? This is what democracy looks like!
